Delta Mu Xi Sorority, Incorporated is a developing international inclusive feminine leadership sisterhood, founded March 30, 2022 in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Our Story
Founded to Make Room
Delta Mu Xi Sorority, Incorporated was established on March 30, 2022 by women who sought a sisterhood where no part of a woman had to be left at the door. What began as a small circle of founders in Lawrenceville, Georgia has grown into a developing international organization dedicated to authentic feminine leadership.
Membership is open to feminine-identifying cisgender and transgender women of every sexual orientation, while permanently honoring and preserving the organization's bisexual and pansexual foundation. That foundation is not a chapter of our past — it is a permanent pillar of our identity.
Our shield, our Fenghuang, the orchid, and the opal are carried forward as a complete symbol system: a visual promise of grace, majesty, wisdom, and transformation.

Our Foundational Heritage
Built on a Permanent Promise
Delta Mu Xi was founded within bisexual and pansexual community, and that origin is permanently honored and preserved. As the sisterhood widened its doors, it never narrowed its foundation.
The Orchid
Beauty, intentional growth, rare strength, and cultivated excellence. The orchid is never accidental — it is tended, and so is every sister.

Multifaceted identity, unity within diversity, and the full spectrum of human experience. One stone, endless light.
Doctrine
The Oya Doctrine
Oya represents transformation, courage, resilience, and purposeful change. She is the wind that moves what has grown stagnant, the strength that carries a woman through what she must not remain inside of.
The Oya Doctrine teaches our members that change is not destruction — it is clearance. Before a woman can rise, the path must be cleared.
Oya clears the path.
Legacy
The Fenghuang Legacy
The Fenghuang represents the woman who rises after transformation with wisdom, character, and responsibility. She is grace and majesty, elegance and strength, harmony and sovereignty.
The Fenghuang is symbolic. She is not a deity and not an incarnation of Oya. She is the sole official mascot and sacred herald of Delta Mu Xi Sorority, Incorporated.
