Every sister of Delta Mu Xi carries the letters with her. This Code sets the standard of conduct expected of all members, officers, and guests.
Sisters treat one another with honesty, gentleness, and respect. Gossip, exclusionary cliques, public disparagement of a sister, and interpersonal cruelty have no place in Delta Mu Xi. Conflict is addressed directly, privately, and with grace.
Delta Mu Xi is an inclusive feminine leadership sisterhood. Discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, ability, age, body, socioeconomic status, gender identity, or sexual orientation is prohibited.
Sisters uphold academic and professional honesty, represent the organization truthfully, and do not speak on behalf of Delta Mu Xi publicly without authorization from National Leadership. Insignia and letters are worn with intention and respect.
Ritual, membership deliberations, member records, and internal materials are confidential. Sisters do not photograph, share, or publish protected materials, including on social media.
Sisters comply with all laws and institutional policies. Unlawful substance use, unsafe events, and any behavior endangering members or the community are prohibited. Hazing is separately and absolutely prohibited under our Anti-Hazing Statement.
Dues and organizational funds are handled transparently and used only for approved purposes. Misuse of organizational funds is a serious violation.
Violations may be reported to National Leadership through the Contact page of this website. Matters are reviewed fairly, and outcomes may include education, restitution, probation, suspension, or expulsion.
