A Bisexual & Pansexual Foundation
Delta Mu Xi was founded as a safe, affirming, and empowering home for bisexual and pansexual women. That foundation is permanent, protected, and celebrated as the origin of everything we have become.

Legacy
Every sister carries the responsibility of preserving the past while creating the future.
Our Founding Vision
On March 30, 2022 in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Delta Mu Xi Sorority, Incorporated was founded by visionary women who believed that no woman should have to choose between her truth and her sisterhood.
Our founding story began with a simple, radical conviction: that a woman's authenticity is not a liability to be managed but a leadership credential to be cultivated. Where existing spaces asked women to soften their identities, our founders built a home that asked them to bring all of it.
The purpose behind Delta Mu Xi has never wavered — to cultivate authentic leaders, inspire bold service, uphold scholarship, and forge a sisterhood strong enough to carry generations of women who have not yet found us.

Our Heritage
Our heritage is preserved with intention — never rewritten, never diminished, always honored.
Delta Mu Xi was founded as a safe, affirming, and empowering home for bisexual and pansexual women. That foundation is permanent, protected, and celebrated as the origin of everything we have become.
Our vision expanded to welcome feminine-identifying cisgender and transgender women of every sexual orientation, alongside allies who share our mission — an expansion of welcome, never a replacement of roots.
Minutes, rituals, photographs, crossing classes, and founding documents are archived as organizational memory, so every future sister can trace the hands that built her home.
The Oya Legacy
Oya moves what must be moved. Her legacy within Delta Mu Xi unfolds in five movements that shape every sister's becoming.
Oya teaches that change is sacred. Every sister enters and rises renewed.
Authority held with grace, courage, and accountability to the sisterhood.
The refusal to shrink. Our truth is our credential.
Power is measured by what it lifts, not by what it holds.
Each generation hands forward more than it received.

The Fenghuang Legacy
The Fenghuang does not rise alone. She rises carrying the fire of everyone who rose before her.
When a woman crosses into Delta Mu Xi, she joins a lineage. Her name enters a record that will be read long after her chapter years end, and her work becomes part of a collective inheritance held in trust for sisters not yet initiated.
Every sister is at once a beneficiary and a builder — receiving a sisterhood shaped by others, and leaving it stronger, wider, and more luminous than she found it.
Living the Legacy
Legacy is not a monument. It is a set of daily choices made by sisters in every region.
Sisters serving on national, regional, and chapter lines.
Bold, sustained community work in every city we touch.
Big-sister guidance that outlives a single chapter year.
Funding and celebrating the pursuit of wisdom.
Partnerships that make our neighborhoods safer and kinder.
Lifelong bonds of trust, accountability, and joy.
